Turkey cooking tips

For Turkey cooking instructions http://www.appledoreturkeys.co.uk/cooking-tips/ gives great advice to ensure a perfectly cooked turkey.
For Three Bird Roasts and Turkey Rolls we would recommend:
Ensuring any bird is fully thawed if frozen prior to cooking.
Cover with tin foil and place in oven at 160ºC. Cook for about 30mins/500g (1 hour /Kg) removing tin foil for last 30 minutes until golden. Ensure bird roast is fully cooked with juices running clear.
For Turkey Breast Roll - Rest for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to eating.
For Three Bird Roast - Rest for a minimum of 30 minutes prior to eating.
Enjoy.

Please note these are given as guidelines and all ovens vary.

New shop at Burwash Manor

The region’s finest family butcher has brought its rich heritage and unrivalled quality to Burwash Manor.

Leech & Sons are a rare breed. One of only a handful of butchers in Britain to run their own abattoir, they are master butchers in the truest sense. From control of farming and selection through to cutting and hanging, these craftsmen make sure you always know exactly where your meat is coming from: from pasture to pantry.

The family-run business, which celebrated its 75th Anniversary last year, is thrilled to have opened its second shop at Burwash Manor, and they look forward to welcoming you there!
